Telegram launched the Giveaways function - a drawing for premium subscriptions

Not long ago, Telegram introduced a feature - Giveaways, which allows you to organize prize draws with a random selection of winners and a pre-paid prize fund, and Telegram will guarantee that the winners were chosen fairly. This allows you to completely entrust the selection of winners to an independent resource, in our case the messenger itself, where the drawing will take place. To participate, you will need to subscribe or be subscribed to one or more channels participating in the drawing.

How does the Giveaways function work in Telegram?

Giveaways wil allow channel owners to give away a “Telegram Premium” subscription. The messenger will guarantee the transparency of the drawing and the honesty of the selection of winners. After summing up, the winners will receive gift codes to activate Telegram Premium. Also, the organizers of the draw can add their own prizes. In addition, channels will receive additional boosts for drawings for paid subscriptions. For each “Telegram Premium” played, the channel will automatically be awarded 4 votes. Votes cannot be transferred to other channels; they will be valid only as long as the winning subscriptions are valid.

How to organize a giveaway for premium subscriptions in your Telegram channel?

To organize a “Telegram Premium” draw, go to the channel profile, then open the statistics. Then go to the “Voices” tab, scroll down, there will be a section “Votes in exchange for gifts”. Click on it and set the parameters for the drawing.

Raffle prizes. Here you can start a drawing or simply give “Telegram Premium” to one or more subscribers. Select the item “Play for prizes”

Number of prizes. In this section you need to select from 1 to 50 winners. For each “Telegram Premium” raffled, the channel will automatically receive 4 votes.

Channels participating in the drawing. Here you can add channels to which the user will need to subscribe or already be subscribed in order to participate in the “Telegram Premium” drawing or other prizes.

Participants in the drawing. Here you can choose who will participate in the drawing - all subscribers or only new ones. It is also possible to indicate the location (country) of users who will participate in the drawing.

Duration of Premium subscriptions. A section in which you need to indicate the time that the “Telegram Premium” subscription will last for the winners of the drawing (respectively, the votes of your channel).

End date of the draw. We indicate the day and time the drawing ends. The duration can be up to 30 days.

To start the drawing, click “Start drawing”. Before you start, you will need to pay for the selected number of Premium subscriptions. After payment, the drawing will begin and votes will be instantly credited to your channel.
