Max Bitrate su Twitch

There is nothing complicated about setting up your stream for your Twitch channel. You just need to follow our recommendations.

What is Bitrate?

Speaking in simple terms, bitrate is the amount of data sent over a certain amount of time. It determines the quality of your video.

Recommended Maximum Bitrate for Twitch

Every year video quality requirements are growing, so does the maximum bitrate for streaming on Twitch. Currently, Twitch recommends a maximum bitrate of 6000 kbps for Full HD (1080p) video quality, and for broadcasting 720p at 30 frames per second, the bitrate should be around 3000 kbps.

If you have an affiliate or partner account, the recommended bitrate can be increased to 8000 kbps.

It is important to remember that not all viewers may have a good internet connection, so to attract more viewers, you should not set the maximum bitrate, but choose the optimal one.

How to pick the optimal Bitrate?

When selecting the optimal bitrate for your streams you should consider:

1. Your internet speed.
2. The power of your computer.
3. The game you plan to stream.

Also, don't forget to test different bitrates to choose the one that suits you best!
