Where did WASD go?

Not long ago, MTS introduced the Nuum platform - MTS is actively developing the NUUM video service, which is a unique streaming service that combines various types of video content. One of the components of the platform was the WASD streaming service, aimed at gamers, which is also managed by MTS.

The NUUM streaming service offers its users a wide range of entertainment content, including vertical and horizontal videos. This allows viewers to enjoy their favorite video formats.

MTS believes that NUUM will be relevant in the current video services market, given the limited monetization of foreign platforms and the departure of most foreign advertisers from the Russian market. NUUM provides an opportunity for advertisers to establish themselves among Russian audiences and effectively promote their products and services.

The full launch of the video service should occur in 2024. After the opening of the NUUM platform, the WASD video service will be frozen, and users will be advised to switch to a new platform.

“At Nuum everyone is our own: we are not shy and do not constrain. Everyone is free to be themselves, make their own jokes, show their true self - we will not judge, no one will (well, if it is legal, of course). Here they create as they feel, without templates,” says a message on the service’s Telegram channel.

Overall, MTS should use several strategies to increase the amount of "conscious" content and attract more traffic and new content creators to its platform.
