Valve's handheld console

Valve recently introduced a new portable console called the Steam Deck. At the moment, a page has appeared on Steam with details about the console. Now you can only reserve the console in the countries of the "first wave" for future purchase and receive a notification from the company that it will be on sale. Steam offers three versions of the box to choose from: 64GB with eMMC, 256 and 512GB with SSD. And also the manufacturer promises access to the entire collection of Steam games. All functions of the online service are available. The console will run on its own operating system SteamOS 3.0 and also includes Proton, thanks to which the games will most likely not need to be ported to the console.

The heart will be a processor similar to the new generation consoles from AMD, and the RAM will be 16 GB LDDR5. As a display, they will put a screen with a resolution of 1280x800 with a brightness of 400 nt and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Sales of the console are promised to begin in December 2021 in countries such as the USA, Canada, the UK and other EU countries.
