YouTube will allow downloading videos to PC

There is information that YouTube is already testing the ability to download videos to a PC. However, they can only be viewed in a browser.

Downloading a separate file with the ability to view it offline is still impossible to implement. Some premium bloggers can test the new feature

YouTube users who have been given the option to download videos can find out about this by the corresponding icon. By clicking on the button, the video will be downloaded, then it can be viewed in the "Downloads" section.

This feature is very similar to caching, and so does Spotify.

The test is only available on the latest versions of browsers.

Since the function is still under development, errors are possible. If you are a YouTube testing user and notice a bug, please report it to the developers.

At the moment, the problem most often occurs with downloading videos. Some videos are not downloaded for unknown reasons.

It is not yet clear if this feature will be available to all YouTube users.

It can be noted that now you can download videos using third-party programs. However, it will be much more convenient to do this in the video hosting itself.
