Fighting Cheaters on Facebook Gaming

"Shelter for cheaters" - this is how the network began to call the streaming platform Facebook Gaming. This is due to the fact that other sites prohibit the use of cheats in games and broadcast a similar phenomenon. Facebook Gaming, in turn, did not take any action against cheaters, and also monetized such streams.

More recently, a streamer with the nickname Vikkstar focused on this problem. In the network, he posted a video that shows how he got a cheater in the game. He, in turn, led the broadcast and calmly showed his achievements, obtained dishonestly. Hackers are often found in Warzone, but after the advent of Facebook Gaming, their abundance increased, as it became possible to broadcast cheating and not be punished. Eventually, the Vikkstar player left the court. After that, he was contacted by Activision to discuss the problem.

Facebook representatives promised to take measures, now monetization hours and partner programs will be removed from such streams, but the channels will not be banned at this stage.

Many streamers were outraged by this decision, they believe that such measures will not change the situation on the platform.

Do you think it's worth introducing tougher measures right away?
