New YouTube feature-ovation (applause)
Dear friends, just recently a new feature appeared on YouTube – ovation. At the moment, it is available to English-speaking users and is gradually appearing among our compatriots.
The feature is that it will now be possible to add video authors directly. The applause icon will be placed next to the likes and dislikes icon. Each author of the videos can independently turn on and off the ovation in the creative studio.
This feature is currently available only on a few Russian-language channels. But representatives of YouTube said that by the end of the year, more than 90% of users will be able to activate the ovation under their videos.
By clicking on the icon, the user will be asked to support the author of the video. In the window, you will need to enter the card details and select the amount of the donation. Remember that not the entire amount will be sent to the blogger, there is a certain commission that is withheld by YouTube.
