VK Play Live platform recently became part of VK Video

VK announced the transformation of its streaming platform VK Play Live, which is now integrated into the VK Video ecosystem. The changes affected the name, logo, and even the platform address.

Authorization is only possible via VK ID, and all previously uploaded broadcasts are available in the catalog of the web version of VK Video. Bloggers and streamers will be able to continue creating content using the new platform features.

VK emphasizes that the changes are aimed at supporting and developing the community of content creators. In the mobile and TV versions of VK Video, you can now see restreams, and new tools allow you to create cuts, use interactive chat functions, and stream in resolution up to 4K with a bitrate of up to 30,000 kbps.

The integration of VK Play Live into VK Video is taking place against the backdrop of the growing popularity of domestic video services, which is associated with the restriction of monetization on foreign platforms. This opens up new opportunities for Russian advertisers and content creators.
