How to Find YouTube Channel Link
Despite its simplicity, many people don't know where to find their YouTube channel link. Meanwhile, a YouTube channel link is needed for various purposes: to share it with subscribers, add it to video descriptions, include it on social networks, websites, or business cards. In this article, we will explain in detail how to find your YouTube channel link in three different ways. You will learn the fastest method via browser, alternative options via Creator Studio, and how to get the link via channel ID.
This material will be useful for both beginners who have just created a channel and are not yet familiar with the settings, and experienced bloggers who want to quickly find the necessary links without unnecessary actions.
Why it's Important to Know How to Find Your YouTube Channel Link
A YouTube channel link is a unique address that any user can use to navigate to your page. Without this link, you won't be able to tell your friends about your channel, post it in video descriptions on other platforms, or participate in affiliate programs and ad exchanges. Therefore, the question of where to find your YouTube channel link arises for every aspiring blogger.
There are several ways to get this link. All of them work, but they differ in speed and convenience. Let's look at each in detail.
The Easiest Way: How to Find Your YouTube Channel Link Through Your Browser
One of the most common search algorithms offered online is the following. This method works for Chrome users, but also for any other browser — Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Opera.
Step one. Go to YouTube through your browser, using your Google account. Make sure you are logged in with the exact account where your channel was created.
Step two. Click on your avatar (profile icon) in the upper right corner of the screen. In the opened menu, select "My channel". After that, you will be taken to your channel's home page.
Step three. Copy the link in the browser's address bar. Highlight the entire address, right-click and select "Copy" or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on Mac). Done, your YouTube channel link is in your clipboard.
Please note! You must log in with your own account; otherwise, users will be directed not to the channel, but to the main page of the YouTube portal. If you forgot to log in or are using someone else's profile, you will see a general feed of recommendations, not your channel.
This method is quite simple but may not suit everyone. For example, if you have multiple channels linked to one account, or if you want to get not just a link, but a short and beautiful address. Therefore, it is worth considering two alternative options for obtaining a link to your channel on YouTube.
The First Alternative Method: How to Find Your YouTube Channel Link Through Creator Studio
This method is a bit longer, but it's useful if you have an unusual situation or are already in Creator Studio to manage videos.
Using the algorithm described above, you should first go to your channel in any convenient way. Click your avatar again in the upper right corner and, using the menu that opens, go to "Creator Studio" (YouTube Studio). This is your channel's control center, where you can view statistics, respond to comments, upload videos, and change settings.
Here, the main panel window of Creator Studio will appear. On this panel, in the left menu or on the main page, you need to find and click the "View Channel" button or link. It is usually located at the top of the screen, next to the channel name and avatar.
After clicking, your channel will open in the main browser window, and the YouTube channel link will be in the address bar. Copy it the same way as described in the first method.
The Second Alternative Method: Get the Link Through Your Channel ID
This method is useful for those who want to get not just a link, but a precise identifier that will never change, even if you change your channel's name.
Using the previously described method, you need to go to your YouTube channel. Here you need to open "Creator Studio" — just like in the first alternative method. After performing this step, you need to find your avatar. On the right side of the screen (in some versions — in the lower left corner) you need to click on the avatar to bring up the menu window. In this menu, find and select "Settings".
Once you are in the settings, you will see several tabs. In the "Channel" or "Basic info" section, find the "Channel ID" line. Next to it will be a set of characters — for example, UC1234567890ABCDEF. This is the basis of your YouTube channel link.
Now, how to get a full link from this identifier. To get the exact address, you need to use the browser's address bar. Copy the following template: youtube.com/channel/ and add your identifier after the last slash. For example, if your identifier is UC1234567890ABCDEF, the full link will be: youtube.com/channel/UC1234567890ABCDEF. Enter it into your browser's address bar and press Enter. The system will offer to go to the channel, where you can then get the actual link with a possible short version.
Which Method to Choose to Find Your YouTube Channel Link
All three methods work, but a specific one suits different situations.
If you need to quickly copy a link right now — use the very first method through "My channel". This takes 10 seconds.
If you are already in Creator Studio and setting up your channel — it is more convenient to go through the "View Channel" option.
