How Youtube counts views

Youtube has several ways to read views:
1. Playback method: started automatically or at the user's touch. If the user independently clicked on the link or clicked on the desired video, according to the recommendations – in this case, the viewing is counted. If the video opened itself, that is, when you start the next video in the queue, then the view counter will not work for it.
2. Percentage of views. The percentage component remains a mystery, the main role is played by the duration of the broadcast. Many believe that only 5-10 seconds are enough. If the viewing time is shorter, the counter is not triggered.
3. Viewability – we will talk about the size of the screen. For YouTube, the minimum indicator is set at 50% of the total screen size on which the video is played. If the user viewed the video completely, but not the scan was insufficient, then the counter is not triggered. Since it is assumed that in this case, the viewer was most likely engaged in their own affairs, which did not relate to the direct viewing of the video.
