Cyberpunk developers finally admitted why they had to release a " raw " game. The start of sales was perfect, everyone was looking forward to the game, but soon after the release there were massive complaints. The failure occurred due to many problems within the company. Initially, the release date and timing were planned incorrectly, working conditions were poor, etc.


CD Projekt has been trying to fix the situation for a month and a half, but at the moment it is not working.

The most basic problems are that the development of the engine and the game took place virtually simultaneously. Also, the company's management and marketers did not realize that it would take much longer to develop such a game.


Many former and current developers argue that from the very beginning, it was more important for the company to focus on the PR of Cyberpunk 2077 than to focus on high-quality game development. Long before the release, it became clear that it would not be possible to meet the deadline. Employees had to work overtime, but this did not save them. Low salaries for developers, constant changes of employees also affected the final result. According to the company's employees, the game was supposed to be released in 2022, but marketers "accelerated" the release, setting the release date a year and a half earlier.


From the very beginning, CD Projekt was negligent about its product, which led to mass discontent and other problems. The developers understood that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released completely raw. The head of the company has repeatedly apologized to the users of the game and promised to fix all the problems as soon as possible, but do not believe in his words.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be finalized for a long time, at best a more decent version of the game we will see in the second part of 2021. Against the background of all the problems in the game, the shares of CD Projekt fell by more than 30%. The head certainly does not like it, so all forces are put to work on the revision of Cyberpunk 2077.
