Recrent, Gensyxa, Sasavot: Pros
Three streamers, three destinies, three completely different approaches to success. Dmitry "Recrent" Osintsev — a former esports player with an IQ of around 150, who gathers tens of thousands of viewers with his professionalism and calm demeanor. Natalya "GENSYXA" Berdnikova — one of the most successful female streamers in Russia, who went from waitress to millionaire. Gleb "sasavot" Orlov — a former firefighter who became "Streamer of the Year" at the SLAY 2025 awards. What unites them is this: each has almost 2 million subscribers on Twitch. Let's figure out who they are, where they came from, and what's the secret to their popularity.
Part 1. Recrent: The Most Skilled Streamer with an IQ of almost 150
Professional Gamer with a Musician's Diploma
Dmitry Osintsev, known by the nickname Recrent, was born on June 26, 1997, in St. Petersburg. Today he is 28 years old, and he is considered one of the most technically skilled streamers in the Russian-speaking segment. His gaming skill is the result not only of natural talent but also of a serious esports past.
It is noteworthy that Dmitry graduated from music school with a guitar major. In his childhood, he tried many sections: swimming, gymnastics, table tennis, boxing, drawing — but he dedicated most of his time to music. "I liked music school — no one forced me to go there, I wanted to myself," he recalls. Now, however, his guitar is gathering dust somewhere in storage.
By education, Recrent is almost an economist. He entered Moscow State University in the Faculty of Economics, but in his third year, he withdrew his documents, having finally decided to link his life with esports. He recalls his university studies without much nostalgia — some lecturers, to put it mildly, were not enthusiastic about teaching.
Esports Career: From Overwatch to NAVI
Osintsev's esports journey began with Overwatch. He played at a professional level, but after a year, he grew tired of this discipline — moreover, it was not popular in the CIS region.
The next stop was PUBG. This game brought Recrent real success. In 2018, he began playing for the teams Tornado Energy Storm and UNITY, and then received an invite to the legendary Natus Vincere. In six months with NAVI, he took first place at the OGN Super League Europe PUBG Invitational.
In esports, he earned over $100,000 in prize money. But his path in NAVI ended due to disagreements within the team and a decline in results. Later, he played in various rosters for another year, and then finally focused on streaming.
World Records and Return to NAVI (as a Content Creator)
In July 2020, Recrent set two world records in Call of Duty: Warzone — 43 kills and 10,000 damage in a solo mode. A little later, he repeated the achievement in "Trio" mode: 58 kills and almost 15,000 damage. These records solidified his reputation as one of the best shooter players among streamers.
In spring 2021, he returned to NAVI, but as a content creator. For about a year, he made videos for the club's YouTube channel on Call of Duty: Warzone. The contract was not renewed, but his time in the organization helped him gain even greater popularity.
Today, Recrent continues to stream on Twitch with a stable online audience of tens of thousands of viewers. His main content is shooters: CS2, Call of Duty, PUBG, Apex Legends. At the same time, he admits that he not only loves to play but also to collect gaming peripherals — he owns around 50 mice.
Calmness and Charisma: What's the Secret
Recrent stands out among many of his colleagues for his calm, composed manner of conducting broadcasts. He doesn't shout, doesn't cause scandals, doesn't hype with provocations. His content is primarily about quality gameplay and intelligent communication.
He himself explains his success with his ability to quickly adapt to different games. "I wouldn't say that I play all games super well, but if something new comes out, I can master everything quite quickly," he says.
According to IQ tests, Recrent has around 150 points. This is, of course, an unofficial figure, but it is confirmed by his analytical mind and ability to deeply understand game mechanics.
Recrent's key figures:
- Twitch — about 1.3 million subscribers
- Stable online — 10,000+ viewers
- Esports prize money — over $100,000
- Mouse collection — about 50 pieces
- IQ — unofficial tests show about 150
Part 2. GENSYXA: From Waitress to "Streamer of the Year"
Childhood in Izhevsk and Difficult Family Circumstances
Natalya Berdnikova, known by the nickname GENSYXA (pronounced "Gensukha"), was born on February 8, 1999, in Izhevsk. Her childhood cannot be called cloudless. When Natasha was 11 years old, her parents divorced. As she herself told, her father often abused alcohol — once he even threw her mother from the second floor. Despite this, she did not completely break ties with her father.
From childhood, Natalya was fond of computer games — she spent time with her brother in computer clubs, played CS, The Sims 2, and Wormix. She was a good student at school: she was an excellent student until the ninth grade.
The Path to Streaming: From YouTube to Twitch via Waitressing
In 2013, GENSYXA created a YouTube channel where she uploaded let's plays and game reviews. In 2015, she switched to Twitch. The first years of streaming did not bring enough money — Natalya was forced to work as a waitress, bartender, and hookah server. Night shifts in the cafe were tough: she received only 700 rubles per shift plus 500 in tips, spent on shawarma and taxis to school, sometimes slept in class.
"Started from the bottom now we here" — this phrase perfectly describes her journey. Today, GENSYXA has over 1.7 million subscribers on Twitch, and her monthly income, by her own admission in 2024, consistently amounts to about 5 million rubles.
