New rules for streamers on Twitch

Already on January 22, 2021, the new rules on Twitch will come into force. If earlier the company did not provide complete information about the changes, now everything is described in sufficient detail. The list of changes is very large, so streamers on Twitch will have to allocate time to study it. Recently, many platforms have introduced similar changes.

All the rules can be found on the Twitch blog. Now we will look at the most basic rules.

* Any insults to teammates are now officially banned. If earlier it was possible in a fit of anger to say "a couple of affectionate" to a friend, now you will have to watch your speech. You can not insult either the person or the manner of play, otherwise you will be banned.

* Moderators will now track your actions not only on the Twitch platform, but also on social networks. In no case can you post content that contains discriminatory or racist materials. Do not create memes 18+.

* Now everyone can get banned for oppression if they hear similar phrases from you during the broadcast or in social networks: "I don't support a certain minority", "I'm against a certain minority", "I'm not interested in a certain minority".

• During the broadcast, you can not wear clothes with the Arrow cross sign and place the Confederate flag. This may indicate your support for slavery and other negative political views.

* It is forbidden to speak out about the nationalities of people, insult them, compare them with animals, express stereotypes, call them by color.

* You can not insult people who are overweight, have a lot of hair and other shortcomings. All streamers should respect the "bodypositive" and not disclose their opinion about the appearance of a particular person.

* Now every Twitch user should carefully monitor their speech, so as not to question the values of a certain minority.

* You can not speak out about your superiority over others.

* It is worth remembering the fact that all people are citizens of the same world. It is forbidden to oppress, insult and belittle other nationalities.

* Your compliment may be considered sexual harassment. Therefore, you should also be more careful with praise.

Based on the above, we can conclude that now every streamer on Twitch will have strict restrictions. Any failure can lead to a ban, so we watch our words, learn to respect our comrades and other personalities, and behave as modestly as possible.
