But the story of Sergei Druzhko is not just a TV presenter's biography. It's a story of how a man soared twice and fell twice. First – on television, where he disappeared from screens in 2007. Sergei Druzhko gained widespread popularity after the mystical show "Unexplained but a Fact". The program aired on TNT channel and was dedicated to researching paranormal phenomena – ghosts, poltergeists, anomalous zones, unidentified flying objects.
The format was simple: Druzhko would go to the scene of the event, talk to witnesses, conduct an "investigation" and make mysterious conclusions. But the program's success was not provided by the content, but by the host's personality. The bald showman with a piercing gaze, speaking in a half-whisper and constantly maintaining his mystical image, was truly incomparable.
In a short time, he became one of the most recognizable hosts in the country. His face was associated with mysteries and secrets. Children and adults watched the program with bated breath, discussing the next day at school and work – "was it really true?".
Disappearance from Screens (2007)
And suddenly – silence. In 2007, Druzhko suddenly disappeared from screens. The program "Unexplained but a Fact" continued to air, but with a different host. Sergei himself disappeared from the information field.
Why? There is no official version. There were rumors of a conflict with producers, creative burnout, or a desire to do something else. But only Druzhko himself and those behind the program know the truth.
Unsuccessful Attempts to Return to TV
After his disappearance, Druzhko repeatedly tried to return to television. However, none of his subsequent programs could replicate the popularity of "Unexplained but a Fact".

The contrast was so unexpected that it attracted attention. The same mysterious host who used to whisper about ghosts was now loudly laughing at "life" and "cringe" together with 20-year-old bloggers.
Incredible Success
The project became incredibly popular among young people. In a short time, Druzhko gained millions of subscribers. His videos collected hundreds of thousands, or even millions of views.
Why did it work? Several factors:
- Nostalgia. Millennials who grew up on "Unexplained but a Fact" watched their childhood idol in a new role with tenderness.
- Absurdity. The very idea that a serious TV presenter was ironizing memes was so strange that it attracted attention.
- Honesty. Druzhko didn't try to seem young. He was an "uncle" who entered the territory of his "grandchildren" and mastered it with interest. This evoked sympathy.
- Collaborations. He actively invited popular bloggers, which helped attract new audiences.
Sudden End
But the success was short-lived. The show lasted only about a year. In 2018, Druzhko stopped releasing new episodes.
Why? There were no official statements. But indirect evidence points to several reasons:
- Format burnout. What seemed fresh and funny in 2017 began to get boring after a year. The novelty wore off.
- Adaptation difficulties. The YouTube audience demanded constant presence. Druzhko, accustomed to the TV filming schedule, could not switch to "conveyor-belt" content release.
- Conflict with the team. According to unconfirmed reports, Druzhko had disagreements with the channel's producers.

Fall and Attempts at Reanimation
