How to download photos from Instagram to your phone or PC
Instagram allows you to view photos, but does not officially provide a "download" button for others' images. You can only save your own posts by requesting an archive. For all other cases, you have to use workarounds.

Tip: Before taking a screenshot, turn off notifications and remove extra fingers from the screen. After taking the screenshot, crop the photo in your gallery.
Method 3. Download via browser (PC)
The most convenient method for computers. No software installation required.
Step 1. Open a browser on your computer (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). Go to instagram.com and log into your account.
Step 2. Find the photo you want to download. It can be your own post or someone else's.
Step 3. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the post. Select "Open original" or "Go to original." The photo will open in a new tab at full size.
