Débit Max sur Twitch
Max Bitrate on Twitch
The maximum bitrate on Twitch is 8000 kbps. This includes video and audio.
For most streamers, a bitrate between 4500 and 6000 kbps is recommended for a good balance of quality and stability.
Twitch recommends these bitrates based on resolution and framerate:
- 1080p (60fps): 4500-6000 kbps
- 1080p (30fps): 3000-4500 kbps
- 720p (60fps): 3000-4500 kbps
- 720p (30fps): 2500-4000 kbps
When choosing your bitrate, consider your:
- Internet upload speed: You need a stable upload speed that is at least 1.5x your chosen bitrate.
- Computer's processing power: A higher bitrate requires more CPU and GPU resources to encode the video.
- Audience's download speed: While not as critical as your upload, a very high bitrate might be difficult for viewers with slower internet to watch without buffering.
You can adjust your bitrate settings in your streaming software (e.g., OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop). Experiment with different settings to find what works best for your setup and audience.
